All K-8 grade Polaris students are invited to enter our Holiday Card Student Art Competition. The winning artwork will be featured on the holiday card we send to donors and supporters!

NEW SUBMISSION DEADLINE:

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7 at 5PM

1st Prize: $100 Gift Card & Art on Holiday Card

2nd Prize: $50 Gift Card

3rd Prize: $25 Gift Card

ARTWORK

• Winter Holiday theme art must be original design made by K-8 grade Polaris student

• Art can be painted, hand-drawn (with crayons, markers, colored pencils, pastels) or collage on standard size paper (8.5 x 11 inches), vertical or horizontal composition

• Subjects to consider: snowman, snowflakes, candy canes, stars, mittens, polar bears, reindeer, penguins, animals in winter, kids having winter fun sledding, ice skating, sledding, Chicago cityscape, winter landscape, snow globe holiday lights on trees, wreathes, holly, and more

• Ideas to consider: winter, fun, happiness, joy, celebration, peace, hope, love, kindness

• Card is nondenominational, no religious depictions

• Please email a good digital image (jpeg or pdf) of student artwork with “Polaris Holiday Card” in the email subject line, include student’s full name, grade and crew, name of parent/guardian, and cell phone to contact winner.
